1. The Protein Solution: In today’s challenging economic climate, providing high-quality protein for families is more critical than ever. Traditional protein sources like meat and fish are becoming increasingly unaffordable. Enter the soybean—a locally grown, non-genetically modified (Non-GMO) crop that packs a punch. Soybeans offer a rich source of high-quality plant-based protein, benefiting not only humans but also fish, poultry, and livestock. It’s a sustainable choice for meeting our country’s protein needs.
2. Climate-Resilient Superfood: Soybeans aren’t just nutritious with great health benefits; they’re also climate-smart. As climate change impacts traditional crops, soybeans remain resilient. They can withstand stresses like off-season hail and increased pest activity. By actively promoting soybean cultivation and consumption in Pakistan, we’re contributing to a more sustainable food secure future.
3. Wholesome Soybean Food Products: While soybeans are celebrated globally, Pakistan hasn’t fully embraced their potential. In Asia, wholesome soybeans are a staple, while in the USA and Europe, soybean components feature in processed foods. However, typical soybean products like Tofu, Miso, and Tempeh aren’t part of our local taste here in Pakistan. That’s where we come in. We’ve taken on the challenge of scientifically developing delicious soybean food products tailored to Pakistani preferences and culture.
4. Meet Saad Khan: Leading our socially responsible program, “Farm to Table,” is Saad Khan—a Swiss-Pakistani national with a passion for food sciences and hygiene. Saad’s background includes studying hotel and restaurant management at Cornell University (USA) and the Swiss Hotel Management Institute Lausanne (Switzerland), and teaching for 17 years at Swiss International Hotel & Tourism Management Institutes. Saad personally oversees the research and development of our soybean products, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
